Ok....so I have been crazy busy! Blogging has slipped down the priority list and I'm really sorry to those who noticed. I still have more to blog about but don't have any more time right now. I've been picking up a lot of extra aerobics classes because people have been really sick lately and added some more to my own schedule. I literally feel like all I do is Work, Eat, Sleep, and teach aerobics. My attire nowadays mostly consists of workout gear. Just trying to save for after graduation. BTW we still don't know where we are going. We won't for a while but trust me...I'm stressing like crazy over it. Chris has been SO BUSY with school that he doesn't even have time to stress about it. If he did I swear he would have a mental breakdown. LOL. 3 1/2 months and counting.....So excited, scared, nervous. Eek!

Happy Birthday Craiger!
In Chris' group of friends from school, we rotate having dinner parties and when we could host it happened to be Craig's birthday. We love Craig. He wanted a "wicked good" cookies cake so it was literally just a stack of my cookies with a candle. I've been making a lot of those lately (Steffi...). I didn't take any pictures of dinner but I made a traditional Italian meal with Stuffed Mushrooms, fruit salsa, and homemade wheat cinnamon sugar tortilla chips (not so Italian but yummy!) for an appetizer. Anitpasta and homemade Italian herb rolls with oil and vinegar dipping sauce for our first course, and Lasagna for dinner. Dinner was the cookie cake and ice cream.
The Top of Mt. Tamalpais or Mt. Tam
So Chris and I have lived here almost 3 years and have this huge mountain in our backyard. We were always saying...we should hike it but wanted to do it on a warm clear day. Well we had some days that were in the high 70's a few weekends ago and we decided to go for it. Turns out....you can drive literally to about a mile away from the summit. So it was more of a scenic drive with a small hike than a day of hiking. Here we are at the summit and you can see all of San Francisco and Marin.

One of the lookouts. Makes for a pretty cool Titanic scene but it was a little too high for my comfort level.

On the left in the far back in Mt. Diablo which is one of the highest points in Northern California. Apparently from there you can see the whole northern part of the state.

And behind me between those mountains in the valley looking think between them is the San Andreas Fault Line. Yep....Mom I was that close!

Chris posing for a shot. He's doing this long hair thing lately. His friends at school call this the "Beatles do". I like it longer and it even looks good when he spikes it up!

After our Mt. Tam hikes since we had so much extra time we drove down to Stinson. Who says you can't have the mountains AND the beach? It was really warm here. There were actually people swimming and out in bikinis. We aren't that crazy! The only downfall of the day was that we didn't bring Maximus. The signs said no dogs but everyone was out hiking with their dogs. He would have loved this!
Cold Rainy Day
So we have had some pretty cold rainy days the past few weeks and one particularly rainy and cold day I was sitting with Maximus on the couch watching a movie. When I had to leave I thought it would be nice to just leave him in the blanket. I left the house and came back 6 hours later. He was still in the exact same spot like he had never moved! Guess he likes the warmth too. I am ALWAYS cold. I get so COLD and just can't get warm sometimes. That's why we have this heated blanket. And when I say cold in CA....Mom that means 60. LOL. Not the winter whiteout 10 below in Boston. I just don't know how I did it!
Little Miss Fixit
Sorry the image quality is so poor. This was taken on my phone by a 6 year old. LOL.
So after my appendix came out and all of our winter traveling, it had been almost 3 weeks since I used my car. We drove it twice before I had to get up one morning early and go to work. It had a little bit of trouble starting each time but we didn't think much of it. Well....it turns out my battery had completely died! I went out that morning and it wouldn't start. Chris was gone at school since he leaves at like 7am and I was leaving at 7:30. So I talked our neighbor into helping me out. He didn't have cables or even know how to do it but he at least had a running car. So I had him sit back and watch me work wonders. The car started right up and took me to work but it still needed a new battery. The repair shop wanted to charge me $150! Well I went to Costco (this is all in the POURING rain that day) baught a battery for 60$ and installed it myself. Easy as pie. This is me in the garage of where I work because it was super gross outside. Thanks Dad for teaching me how to fix stuff!
