The Last Days MADNESS!!

So....let's just say UTTER CHAOS. The last week and next few weeks are really going to push us to the max. We are getting ready to move, I'm in the final 3 out of 16 and on my second interview (they are flying me up on Tuesday and paying for my hotel and everything...CRAZY!) for a new job in OR, Chris has a "to do" list literally 10 MILES LONG!!, we have had my girls every weekend the last few weekends (this one is the last one!), we have SO MANY loose ends to tie up before we go, AND WE STILL HAVE CONSTRUCTION DRIVING US BONKERS!!! BUT.....there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We just finished booking our 3 week excursion to Europe to celebrate dental graduation! Can't wait! More details to follow. And...yes I will get those graduation announcements out soon!

AHHHH..Construction...the WAR ZONE we live in!!

So....LUCKY US!! Not only do we have an incredibly stressful last month trying to finish out dental school, move, etc. but we get the blessing of having a month long HUGE remodel of our apartments. We didn't want to move twice so here we are enduring the hammers, power tools, LOUD backup beepers, and screaming in Spanish outside. Oh...and it all starts at 7am. LUCKY US! They are redoing the siding, balconies, and replacing all the windows in our place. LOVE IT!

The nails that I am constantly finding on the ground.

Yep...more nails.

All the parking has been taken away. LOVELY! And we get all kinds of fun trucks and equipment.

These are some of the older apartments that they are COMPLETELY redoing. These people had to move out.

That's my car amidst all that lovely blue scaffolding.

Ob boy!

You can't really see it but this is the truck that blocks my car in every morning. And despite telling them 15- 20 minutes in advance that I will need to get out...it's still there when I have to go. Make me late all the time.

And then we had rain before they could finish the window installments so we had leaks all weekend. All over our leather couch! LOVE IT!!

NICE! Brown nasty water all over our window sills, carpet, and couch. FUN STUFF!! CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE!! The sad thing is that we won't be here for the finished product. It's really going to be nice. Poor Maximus has been shaking like crazy too. He doesn't know what to think!!

Hmmm...Jamba

This one is for Maureen. Maximus is a big fan of Jamba juice. We caught him in the trash with his face literally in the cup. I thought it would get stuck there! Unfortunately we had to pose for this picture because I couldn't get the camera in time for the cute candid.

Roseburg Oregon

Chris and I took a last minute whirlwind trip up to Roseburg to make a final decision last weekend and has a great time!! We are excited to make this place our new home.

We ate at this restaurant that is actually a restored train station. It had all these old chandeliers which I thought was really cool.

Of course we checked out the whole town including the view from the local Wal Mart. LOL. We are so excited to be close to one again!

The town has a river that winds through it and has these beautiful bridges that are common to Oregon.

A close up of some of the details of the bridge.

The falls. On a sunny day this place is just gorgeous!!

This is for Kelly. Fishing?

The view from our new driveway.

Our new street. House is on the left.

Our new house! Can't wait!

We have a job!!!

Our future home!! This is where Chris will be working. Follow the link below. We are so excited about it!!
